Human Myosin Heavy Chain 8, Skeletal Muscle, Perinatal ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myosin Heavy Chain 8, Skeletal Muscle, Perinatal (MYH8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for MYH8 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-MYH8 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of MYH8 is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Performance characteristics include a product range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <32 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery across 5 replicates averaged 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity was reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types. The platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.
