Human Myopalladin ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myopalladin (MYPN) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for MYPN is pre-coated onto a microtitre plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and captured MYPN is detected using a biotinylated anti-MYPN antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of MYPN captured in each well. The optical density is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is determined by reference to the standard curve.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.047 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5). The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
