Human Myogenin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myogenin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Myogenin detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. The HRP enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.117 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery was validated in serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and heparin plasma (n=5), averaging 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, with corresponding ranges of 80–102%, 81–100% and 80–89%.
