Human Myogenic Differentiation ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MyoD1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-MyoD1 detection antibody, and HRP-avidin with TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Validation data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery averages and ranges across these sample types are 95% (88–102%), 94% (90–99%), and 96% (90–102%), respectively. Parallelism is reported across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same matrices. Detection is colourimetric on a pre-coated microplate, and the assay is intended for use with human samples.
