Human Myocilin ELISA Kit

Provided by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myocilin in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-Myocilin detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance proportional to the Myocilin concentration present in each well.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.28 ng/ml and a working assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported average recovery values across sample matrices are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as indicated and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
