Human Myeloid Differentiation Factor 88 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MyD88 (Myeloid Differentiation Factor 88) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microtitre plate bound with an antibody specific for MyD88, followed by detection with a biotinylated anti-MyD88 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance measured at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Reported average recovery values are 93% for serum (range 84–102%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 91–100%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 92–98%). Dilution linearity is provided across 1:2 to 1:16 for each sample matrix.
