Human Mucin 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Mucin 3 (MUC3) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-MUC3 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with a standard curve spanning 62.5–4000 pg/ml and a reported sensitivity of 23.6 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Validated recovery data: serum (n=5) 80%–102% with average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% with average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% with average 84%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol and should not be used past the expiration date.
