Human Mucin 13, Cell Surface Associated ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Mucin 13, Cell Surface Associated (MUC13) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for MUC13; following capture, a Biotinylated Anti-MUC13 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are added sequentially, producing a colour change with TMB substrate that is read at 450 nm.

Stated sensitivity is 0.067 ng/ml with a quantitative range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Sample recovery has been characterised in serum (83-100%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (90-103%, average 96%, n=5) and heparin plasma (89-102%, average 95%, n=5); linearity was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
