Human MTBP ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MTBP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using a microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for MTBP. Captured MTBP is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-MTBP Antibody, which is in turn detected with an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate. Signal is generated using TMB substrate solution and quantified by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the concentration of MTBP calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/ml. The entire kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past the expiration date. According to the protocol, all samples must be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer before being added to the plate, and standards and samples should be assayed in duplicate with standards prepared as a 1:2 serial dilution series.
