Human/Mouse/Rat TGF beta 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of TGF beta 2 (also known as Cetermin, G-TSF, Glioblastoma-derived T-cell suppressor factor, TGFB2, and Transforming growth factor beta-2 proprotein) in human, mouse, and rat samples. The assay is validated for cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma, and detects both native and recombinant human, mouse and rat TGF-ß2 with no significant cross-reactivity reported.

It uses a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent technique: a monoclonal antibody specific for TGF-ß2 is immobilised onto microwells, standards or samples and a biotin-linked monoclonal antibody are added, unbound substances are washed away, and streptavidin-HRP is introduced before substrate. The colorimetric signal is stopped with acid and read on a microplate reader.

The standard range covers 31.25 - 2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <0.33 pg/ml, and the reported average recovery from serum samples is 107%. The kit should be stored at +4°C and must not be used past its expiration date.
