Human Monocyte To Macrophage Differentiation Associated Protein ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with standards and samples bound by an immobilised antibody, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Monocyte to Macrophage Differentiation Factor Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate solution, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported recovery values include serum at 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma at 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma at 80%–89% (average 84%).
