Human Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase 12 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human p38 gamma/MAPK12 (Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase 12) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for p38 gamma/MAPK12 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, standards and samples are added and bound by the immobilized antibody, and detection is achieved using a biotinylated anti-p38 gamma/MAPK12 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <0.072 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample validation shows average recovery of 91% in serum (range 83–100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 90–98%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%), with linearity data provided across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 for each sample type. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
