Human Microtubule Associated Serine/Threonine Kinase 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Microtubule Associated Serine/Threonine Kinase 2 (MAST2) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for MAST2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate.

Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where MAST2 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-MAST2 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Following further incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of MAST2 captured in each well. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 0.053 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.
