Human Metallothionein 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MT3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids [S1]. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with a Biotinylated Anti-MT3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate producing a colour change in TMB substrate that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader [S1].

Reported sensitivity is <0.054 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m [S1]. Sample recovery has been evaluated in serum (average 91%, range 80% - 102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81% - 100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80% - 89%, n=5) [S1]. Dilutional linearity is also reported across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples [S1].

Kit components include a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate, Lyophilized Standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and Plate Sealers [S1].
