Human Metadherin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Metadherin (also known as LYRIC/AEG1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-LYRIC/AEG1 detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.056 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Validation measurements in serum (n=5) showed values ranging 80–102% with an average of 91%; in EDTA plasma (n=5), 81–100% with an average of 90%; and in heparin plasma (n=5), 80–89% with an average of 84%. Across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, measured values in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma spanned 74–108%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
