Human Mesencephalic Astrocyte Derived Neurotrophic Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Mesencephalic Astrocyte Derived Neurotrophic Factor (ARMET/ARP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer datasheet, the standard curve covers a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.7 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery for undiluted samples averaged 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 for each).

The plate is supplied as 12 x 8 well strips and the kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C depending on the component.
