Human Meprin A Beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, this kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Meprin beta in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) in which Meprin beta is captured by an immobilised antibody, then detected with a biotinylated anti-Meprin beta antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After incubation with TMB substrate and acidic stop solution, absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The kit offers an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.117 ng/ml, with a total run time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.

Recovery has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=5 for each), and dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same matrices.
