Human Melatonin Receptor 1A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Melatonin Receptor 1A (MTNR1A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a colourimetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and has a total assay time of 4h 30m. Target capture is detected using a biotinylated anti-MTNR1A antibody followed by HRP-avidin, with TMB substrate producing a colour change proportional to analyte concentration.

The kit has a product range of 0.625–40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.219 ng/ml. Sample recovery has been assessed in serum (average 91%, range 83–100%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 94%, range 90–98%, n=5), and heparin plasma (average 95%, range 89–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been tested from 1:2 through 1:16 across these matrices.
