Human Melanoma Associated ME20 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Melanoma gp100 (the Melanoma-Associated ME20 antigen) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-Melanoma gp100 detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Validated for human reactivity, the kit offers a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery ranges in undiluted samples are 83%–100% (average 91%) for serum, 91%–102% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 89%–102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma, with consistent performance across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. The kit has been cited in a prospective study of serum gp100 as an independent biomarker of early metastatic risk in uveal melanoma.
