Human MEFV ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this MEFV / Pyrin ELISA kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Pyrin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay runs in 4 hours on a pre-coated microplate, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm.

It is specific for Pyrin with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Listed synonyms for the target include Marenostrin, MEF, MEFV and TRIM20.

Reported average recovery values are 92% for serum (range 88–102%), 98% for EDTA plasma (range 87–103%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 86–100%). The kit is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
