Human Mdm2 p53 Binding Protein Homolog ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Mdm2 p53 Binding Protein Homolog (MDM2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for MDM2; standards and samples are added and any MDM2 present is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-MDM2 antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The stated sensitivity is <0.064 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml.

The kit is reactive with human samples and is suitable for use with tissue homogenates and cell lysates.
