Human Matrix Remodelling Associated Protein 5 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human MXRA5 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MXRA5 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a microtitre plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for MXRA5. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-MXRA5 Antibody that binds the captured MXRA5. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added, and TMB substrate solution is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of MXRA5 in each well, and the concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.109 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. It is suitable for use with serum and plasma samples.
