Human Matrix Metalloproteinase 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Matrix Metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-MMP2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate and an acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a standard-curve measuring range of 0.625-40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.243 ng/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery values are 80%-102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81%-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and 80%-89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Linear dilution performance across 1:2 to 1:16 is 87%-91% to 92%-97% for serum, 90%-105% to 79%-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84%-95% to 89%-91% for heparin plasma. Total assay time is 4h 30m.
