Human Matrix Metalloproteinase 17 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Matrix Metalloproteinase 17 (MT4-MMP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-MT4-MMP detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm for colorimetric quantification.

Manufacturer specifications report a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data list mean recovery values of 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, n=5), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported in the ranges 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108% (n=5) respectively. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol.
