Human Matrix Metalloproteinase 10 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Matrix Metalloproteinase 10 (MMP10) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. It is reactive with human samples and falls within the Assays and Kits category.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) immobilised with an antibody specific for MMP10. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-MMP10 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance proportional to MMP10 concentration. Reported sensitivity is <25 pg/ml and the assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Mean recovery values are 91% in serum (n=5, range 83%–100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90%–103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 89%–102%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is 82%–110% for serum, 73%–109% for EDTA plasma and 77%–110% for heparin plasma. The kit contains a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
