Human MAPK8 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human JNK1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for JNK1 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. JNK1 is also known by the synonyms MAPK8, c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1, MAP kinase 8, Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8, SAPK1, SAPK1C, PRKM8, JNK-46, Stress-activated protein kinase 1c, and Stress-activated protein kinase JNK1.

The kit uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody, with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. The total assay time is 4 hours, with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a quantitative range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated dilutions include 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for healthy serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Average recovery (n=10) in undiluted samples was 97% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C, with the kit shipped at +4°C.
