Human Mannosidase Alpha Class 1A Member 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human alpha 1,2 Mannosidase IA/MAN1A1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, employing a biotinylated detection antibody with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <0.054 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing showed averages of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
