From Antibodies.com, the Human MASP1 (Mannose Associated Serine Protease 1) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MASP1 in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The test employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for MASP1, a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is reported as <32.12 pg/ml and the assay range is 93.8-6000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reagents are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the product is supplied for research use only. Validation data report mean recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5).
