Human Maltase Glucoamylase, Intestinal ELISA Kit

An Antibodies.com product, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Maltase Glucoamylase, Intestinal (MGA) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colourimetric readout at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Sensitivity is reported at <0.63 ng/ml and the standard curve covers an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. Standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-MGA antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-MGA antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, and visualised using TMB substrate. Addition of the acidic stop solution produces a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to MGA concentration and is read against the standard curve.

Supplied kit components comprise a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solution A, detection solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Recovery performance is reported for serum (n=5, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%) across sample dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
