Human Malate Dehydrogenase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MDH1 (Malate Dehydrogenase 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). An MDH1-specific antibody is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-MDH1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate yields a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 27 pg/ml with a standard curve range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported recovery in spiked samples (n=5) is 80% to 102% (average 91%) for serum, 81% to 100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80% to 89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
