Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 5 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers this sandwich ELISA kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 5 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The standard curve covers a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.3 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery is 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported in the range of 74-108% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
