Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 Alpha ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 alpha in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The plate is supplied pre-coated with a capture antibody and the workflow uses a biotinylated anti-target detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The standard-curve format allows the analyte concentration to be calculated from the O.D. values of each well.

Reported performance includes a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 24 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 91-98%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90-99%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
