Human Macrophage Derived Chemokine ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Macrophage Derived Chemokine (MDC) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids [S1]. Detection is colorimetric, employing a biotinylated anti-MDC antibody with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader [S1].

The microplate is pre-coated and configured as twelve 8-well strips [S1]. The standard curve spans a product range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 31 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes [S1].

Average recovery was 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma across five samples each, with dilution linearity demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types [S1]. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash and sample dilution buffers, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; storage conditions range from +4°C to –20°C depending on the component [S1].
