Human Lysyl tRNA Synthetase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Lysyl tRNA Synthetase (LysRS) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colourmetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/ml, and a total run time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. An antibody specific for LysRS is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added and bound LysRS is detected using a biotinylated anti-LysRS antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to produce a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the yellow intensity proportional to LysRS concentration calculated against the standard curve.
