Human Lysozyme ELISA Kit

Supplied under the Antibodies.com brand, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Lysozyme in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The format uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with antibody specific for Lysozyme, in combination with a biotinylated anti-Lysozyme detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate.

Sensitivity is stated as <4.8 pg/ml with a quantitative assay range of 12.5-800 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Signal is generated using TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported recovery values are: serum 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions has been determined as follows: serum 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97% (n=5); EDTA plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108% (n=5); heparin plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91% (n=5).

Kit components include a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
