Human Lysosomal Associated Membrane Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Lysosomal Associated Membrane Protein 1 (LAMP1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. Captured LAMP1 is detected using a biotinylated anti-LAMP1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate added to produce a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader; absorbance is proportional to LAMP1 concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.059 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Spiking recovery data (n=5) shows averages of 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated, and the product is suitable for use with cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
