Human Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human LPCAT3 (Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 3). The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported sensitivity is <1.29 ng/ml and the assay range is 3.12–200 ng/ml. The full protocol can be completed in 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.

Manufacturer data (n=5 per sample type) are reported as follows. Values for serum ranged from 80% to 102% with an average of 91%; for EDTA plasma from 81% to 101% with an average of 91%; and for heparin plasma from 80% to 89% with an average of 84%. Across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, values were: serum 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97%; EDTA plasma 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91%.
