Human Lysophosphatidic Acid Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human EDG2/LPA-1 (Lysophosphatidic Acid Receptor 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric readout on a pre-coated microplate.

An antibody specific for EDG2/LPA-1 is pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and samples are added and the target present in each sample is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-EDG2/LPA-1 antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm and the concentration is calculated against the standard curve. The reported assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.112 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported recovery values are 80–102% in serum (average 91%, n=5), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5), and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
