Human Lysine Specific Demethylase 4A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human KDM4A, also known as JHDM3A or JMJD2A, in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate onto which an antibody specific for KDM4A/JHDM3A/JMJD2A has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-KDM4A/JHDM3A/JMJD2A Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate; the enzymatic reaction is visualised using a TMB substrate that produces a blue product which changes to yellow after addition of an acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and target concentration is determined against the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.128 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Average recovery has been validated in serum (91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (94%, n=5) and heparin plasma (94%, n=5), with linearity tested across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
