Human Lymphocyte Antigen 96 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MD2 (Lymphocyte Antigen 96) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where MD2 is captured by an immobilised antibody; bound analyte is then detected with a biotinylated anti-MD2 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with MD2 concentration calculated from a standard curve.

The quantitative assay has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.060 ng/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery values are 93% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 demonstrated across the same sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
