Human Lymphocyte Antigen 9 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD229 (Lymphocyte Antigen 9) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised antibody specific for CD229. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-CD229 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate; a TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with CD229 concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The assay has a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes, with a reported sensitivity of <0.128 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Recovery values reported by the manufacturer include an average of 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). The kit contains pre-coated microplate strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
