The Human LTC4S ELISA Kit is run on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with results produced in 4 hours.

Performance characteristics include a measurable range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL. The assay is specific for LTC4S, with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Spiked recovery in undiluted samples averaged 95% in serum (range 90-103%, n=10), 99% in EDTA plasma (range 90-104%, n=10), and 98% in heparin plasma (range 91-104%, n=10).
