Human Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor Related Protein 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor Related Protein 4 (LRP4) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The plate format is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and detection uses a biotinylated anti-LRP4 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.103 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in undiluted samples was 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
