Human Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor Related Protein 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor Related Protein 1 (LRP1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for LRP1 immobilised on the wells. After incubation with standards and samples, a biotinylated anti-LRP1 antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported at <0.061 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5) 80–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
