Human Lipocalin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Lipocalin 1 (LCN1) in serum, plasma, saliva, tears or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated anti-LCN1 detection antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of 29 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported mean recovery in serum (n=5) is 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) is 90% (range 81–100%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) is 84% (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity values are provided for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
