Human Lipase, Pancreatic ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Pancreatic Lipase (PTL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and results are read colorimetrically at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The stated product range is 0.625–40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.276 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% for serum (range 80%–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–99%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Dilution linearity (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
