Human Lipase, Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Lipoprotein Lipase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-Lipoprotein Lipase antibody, a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Avidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit reports a product range of 23.4-1500 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <8.65 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (81%-100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (80%-89%, n=5). Linearity of dilution was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum (n=5) ranging 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%, EDTA plasma (n=5) ranging 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%, and heparin plasma (n=5) ranging 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%. Components include a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip plate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash and sample dilution buffers, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
