Human Lipase, Hepatic ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human hepatic lipase (LIPC) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

Plates are supplied as a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). The workflow employs a biotinylated anti-LIPC antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 35 pg/ml, a quantitative range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell lysates and tissue homogenates. Reported average recovery values (n=5) were 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Kit contents include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored between -20°C and +4°C as specified per component.
