Human Lipase, Endothelial ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human endothelial lipase (LIPG) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for LIPG pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips; bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-LIPG antibody, HRP-avidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <28 pg/ml, and the protocol completes in 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is validated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. Reported recovery ranges are 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
