Human Lipase, Bile Salt Dependent ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Bile Salt-Activated Lipase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Bile Salt-Activated Lipase detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm, with target concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit has a detection range of 12.5–800 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <5.1 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

In validation studies, recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
